Galapera Hotel

The hotel left only positive impressions! Its location is simply excellent – right next to Galata Tower and within walking distance of all the major attractions of Istanbul. The infrastructure is top-notch, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. My room was absolutely comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and there was more than enough of everything. Thank you for the excellent service and pleasant atmosphere! As for the staff, I would like to give a special thanks to Anastasia. She is a wonderful receptionist—very friendly and welcoming. She is always ready to help and resolve any guest inquiries. I especially want to highlight her attentive and caring approach to welcoming guests, which creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. She also speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian, which is a great advantage for the hotel since Istanbul attracts people from all over the world. The airport transfer was organized at the highest level—everything went smoothly and comfortably. Overall, the service left only positive impressions—thank you very much!

Great location, clean room, value for money, but it is the exceptional people that makes this hotel great for us. The owner(?) went above and beyond in helping us to find a hospital for vaccination when my son had a dog bite incident, and the day and night receptionists are both very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, nice people at Galapera Hotel!

The location was pretty good. The staff was friendly and answered our questions patiently. There were slippers, kettle, water, tea and coffee in the room. They were cleaning the room on time and each time a bottle of free water was placed. Also, the speed of the wifi was high enough.

I would like to thank the hotel staff for helping me in a difficult situation. My visit to Istanbul was 01/01/24, on a holiday. Russian cards are not accepted anywhere now, the trip turned out to be spontaneous and I did not have time to exchange currency at home. Therefore, I used a transfer to an electronic account, and I could receive it at the offices of some companies and at post offices that were not open on a holiday. Although I wrote to one of the offices in advance and they assured me that some branches would work, but this turned out not to be the case. I was left in a foreign country with absolutely no money. I didn't even have the opportunity to pay for a hotel. There was no cash for food. They gave me shelter and reassured me that the branches would be open the next day. And they even gave me food money for expenses so that I could eat and go somewhere. The world is not without good people. Thank you very much.

The room had pretty much everything you might want in a hotel room, complete with a fridge, kettle and complementary teabags, sugar, a big water bottle. It was easy to get more toilet paper, clean towels and more water from a cupboard in the corridor. The staff was nice and welcoming.
